We four women came together to create the now acclaimed, collaborative cabaret ensemble that is The Ruby Dolls. The defining feature of our work is our close harmony singing - infused with theatre, dance, puppetry, and clowning. And jokes, we like jokes.
We are inspired by the diversity and intimacy of cabaret. Like the movie with Liza Minnelli, but without the fascists... Just the sex, gender, violence & corruption. With jokes. And red lipstick. We tell the big stories and the small stories that are close to our hearts. We surprise, charm and stir our audiences as we ask questions about the world around us and we invite you to ask them right back. Welcome to the world of Ruby…
